The Trappings of Fame

In an ugliness contest, the unbeautiful fish was upstaged
first by a frog and then by a pig.
Unrecognition made the fish unhappy.
She was more beautiful than ugly, said the judges.
She tried hard to become more unbeautiful.
In her third attempt, she finally wins the ugliness pageant; she beats a monkey, a rat, and a bat.
Famous designers began to design her dresses.
More unbeautiful she became, more  she became the symbol of indecency.
Soon the feeling of losing fame
began to bother her.
The thought of another celebrity sank her into deep depression.
The day she was uncrowned, she could not unwear the trappings of fame, gracefully.
Soon she realised, every good or bad thing has a time limit.
